FIREFIGHTING
Auburn Fire & Rescue is a professional, volunteer fire department and rescue squad. Our Firemen provide skilled fire suppression on structures, automobiles, or any other materials involved in a fire. Firemen also respond to hazmat incidents as needed.

EMS SERVICE
Our EMTs provide non-transport assistance as needed. We are an ILS agency and can help with life threatening situations. EMTs go through extensive training and continuing education to keep their license and knowledge current.
ICE AND WATER RESCUE
Members have been trained in ice rescue procedures and train annually as the weather permits. We have the correct equipment to keep our volunteers safe during an ice rescue and the to assist the distressed patient. The suits have been used in some water rescue as they are buoyant.
MOTOR VEHICLE EXTRICATION
Auburn recently purchased new battery operated tools to be used during extrications. These will not only be quicker to use, but give the patient a much better chance in getting to a hospital in a timely manner. These will cut the time needed to set up to prepare for an extrication to just a couple of minutes at the most.
